Sanwo-Olu turns ‘usher’ as race to Alausa House shifts to church entrance

Must read

Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu’s campaign train relocated to the Lekki, Lagos parish of Harvesters Church on Sunday as he planted himself at the church entrance to exchange pleasantries and handshakes with worshippers who are mostly youths.

This was after the church authorities had giving him him the opportunity to address the congregants.

Mr Sanwo-Olu’s shocking appearance in the trending video, however, caused a stir, as the audience did enough to show disapproval for the man they continue to hold responsible for the October 20, 2020 #EndSARS illing of some unarmed youths.

Mr Sanwo-Olu, seeking a second term, is hoping for success in next Saturday’s polls. His ambition faces an unprecedented threat from the Labour Party which ended his party’s tight grip on Lagos in the last presidential election.
