The Vice Chairman/CEO of Max Air, Bishir Barau Mangal has died.
The media consultant to the airline confirmed this in a statement on Friday.
The statement reads, “Inna lillahi wa inna Ilaihi rajiun, this is to announce the death of our beloved brother Alhaji Bashir Barau Mangal Vice Chairman/ CEO Max Air in the early hours of today Friday 23rd December 2022. May Allah grant him Jannatul Firdaus.”
He was 65 years old.
Mangal is the younger brother of Dahiru Mangal, chairman, Max Air, and one of the richest men in Katsina state.
According to Mangal, Bishir died in the early hours of Friday, in Abuja after a brief illness.
