According to the letter, Buhari said the request was pursuant to section 8(1) (2) of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) (establishment) act 2007.
In a separate letter, Buhari asked the senate to screen and confirm the nomination of Ayuba Ngbako from the federal capital territory (FCT) for an appointment as a member of the Revenue Mobilisation Allocation and Fiscal Commission (RMAFC).
