Garland for the budding actor: Temi Otedola wins Best Actress at Ghana Movie Awards

Temi Otedola, daughter of billionaire business magnate and philanthropy, Femi Otedola has won the award for Best Actress (African Collaboration) at the Ghana Movie Awards 2020.

Otedola won the award for her role in the hugely successful Kunle Afolayan’s movie ‘Citation’. The movie also won the award for Best Movie (African Collaboration) at the event.

Reacting to the award, Temi Otedola tweeted: “I just heard I won the Ghana Movie Award in the category of Best Actress (African Collaboration) for my role in Citation! So, grateful! Thank you for this honour,”

Citation is about an intelligent young Master’s student, Moremi, played for Temi Otedola, who speaks out after a university don, Lucien N’Dyare (Jimmy Jean-Louis), attempts to rape her and her many attempts to break free from the web of lies spun by the main character, Jimmy Jean-Louis.
