Must read

Rising from its National Executive Council (NEC) meeting some minutes ago, the Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) has reiterated its resolve to proceed with its planned strike and protest with effect from September 28.

The president of NLC, Ayuba Wabba said the union has no option than to down tools, since the federal government refused to acquiesce to their demand for the reversal of the increase in petroleum prices and electricity tariff.

He stated that the decision was unanimously taken by the chairmen of the 36 states and FCT chapters of the NLC.
