Fayose carpets Atiku for PDP woes, says fmr. VP should accept defeat and retire to Dubai

Former Governor Ayodele Fayose of Ekiti state has tongue-lashed former vice president Atiku Abubakar for the woeful performance of the party at the last Saturday presidential election, advising the presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP to accept defeat and retire to Dubai.

In a series of tweets on his verified handle, Fayose said the party would have fared better if the former vice president had listened to the complaints of the G5 governors on the zoning of executive positions.

He commended the courage and resilience of the Labour party’s flag bearer, Peter Obi for his uncommon and unprecedented outing, adding that this was not unexpected, given his large followership among Nigerians.
