The award-winning singer, Tiwa Savage has announced the passing of his father.
The iconic singer made the announcement on her verified Instagram page on Monday.
She wrote, “Early hours of this morning, you made a peaceful transition. You fought till the very end, you really fought daddy. It’s been rough for you these past couple of years but you are resting now.
“This is tough on me, I’m so numb, so weak. Rest In Perfect Peace my King. I love you daddy. Savy t’eko, pappin K.” (sic)
Friends and colleagues of the entertainer have taken to the comment section to sympathize with her.
Afro-beats musician, Seun Kuti, wished the songstress strength to bear the loss.
“Wishing u all the strength and fortitude you need to bear this loss. Welcome to the club, my sister.”
Actress, Adesua Etomi added: “Sending you tons of love”.
Another actress and filmmaker, Iyabo Ojo said: “So sorry for your loss dear, may his gentle soul rest in perfect peace”.
