The Lagos State Government, through its business support agency, The Lagos State Employment Trust Fund (LSETF) has called on owners of stores that were looted or vandalised during the recent unrest in the state to till a form for possible state support.

The LSETF was established by the Akinwunmi Ambode administration to provide financial support to residents of Lagos State, to tackle unemployment through job and wealth creation.

The state government said it would do what it can to support the businesses.

The form’s requirements include name of business, location of business, estimated amount of loss, photo of damages, number of employees, among others.

Hoodlums had hijacked the peaceful protests of #EndSARS demonstrators, leading to widespread vandalisation of properties and looting of stores.

On Friday, the State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, visited different parts of the state for an on-the-spot assessment of vandalised public assets and private properties.
