Barely five days after the launch of the Ondo State Security Network Agency, otherwise known as Operation Amotekun by the state governor, Rotimi Akeredolu; kidnappers Saturday reportedly abducted two men on the Ikun-Oba Akoko Road in the Akoko South West Local Government of the state.
According to Punch, the victims were abducted on their way from Ikun Akoko where they had attended the 2020 Ikun Day.
One of the victims was identified as Surajudeen Alao, but the identity of the second victim is yet to be ascertained.
No one has claimed responsibility for the abduction and the families of the victims were yet to be contacted for possible payment of ransom.
