The Majority Leader of the House of Representatives, Alhassan Ado-Doguwa, has has promised Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu that his entire household, four ives and 8 children will vote for him in the 2023 presidential election.
The lawmaker represents Doguwa/Tudun Wada Federal Constituency of Kano State.
In a video now in circulation, Doguwa who was speaking on the floor of the House, said though APC, has postponed its flag off of the presidential campaign, he has commenced the campaign in his household.
He said: “Today is the 28th day of September, which is the flag off of presidential and National Assembly campaigns.
“Even though my party had cause to reschedule their programme and activities, I have done my flag off with my 28 children and four wives, who will vote for Tinubu and every other candidate of the APC.
“I came in very unusually late into the chamber. I had to flag off my campaign and the campaign of my presidential candidate,Tinubu. I was actually doing something worthwhile.”
On January 25, 2022, Doguwa announced that one of his wives had given birth to a baby.
The 56-year-old lawmaker once introduced his four wives to the House during plenary in January 2020, saying they bore him 27 children.
During the day’s plenary, Doguwa said the 28th child was born in the last 24 hours.
