The presidential flag bearer of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Presidential candidate, in the 2023 general election, Senator Bola Ahmed Tinubu is on a working visit to the party’s National Secretariat, Abuja to interact with party leadership.
Sources told Fedredsnews that the meeting with the party leaders was meant to agree on the campaign structure and how it can deliver victory for the party in the forthcoming election.
Prior to the visit, the progressives Governors Forum and the Presidency had agreed with the candidate, Tinubu and his running mate Shettima that President Muhammadu Buhari would chair the campaign council just as Plateau State Governor Simon Lalong remains the DG of the presidential campaign.
The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) timetable indicates that active campaigns will begin on September 28, 2022.
