Kidnapped Methodist Church Prelate, His Eminence Samuel Uche has been released by his captors.
The priest was kidnapped Sunday afternoon alongside two other clerics on the Lokpa axis of the Enugu-Port Harcourt Expressway.
According to a report just filtering in, the cleric was released together with other victims Monday evening.
He was abducted by yet-to-be-identified gunmen alongside Rt. Rev. Dennis Mark, the Methodist Bishop of Owerri, and the Prelate’s Chaplain on Sunday.
They were kidnapped along Enugu-Port Harcourt Expressway, in Umunneochi Local Government Area of Abia State.
It is not yet clear if ransom was paid.
Earlier reports indicated that the hoodlums had demanded N100 million ransom.
