Billionaire businessman and owner of the popular Planet One Hotel, Lagos, Shaka Momoh is dead.
The Edo born billionaire was said to have died of the dreaded Coronavirus disease (COVID-19) on Thursday morning at the Lagos University Teaching Hospital (LUTH).
A close family source told TNG that the news just filtered in that our great son died this morning but we are still trying to reach our family members in Lagos.
Momoh was a car freak and was among the first Nigerians to have purchased Hummer Jeep and state of the art luxury cars.
He is reputed for buying luxury cars, which he distributes to his childhood friends during festive periods.
He also ran Hospitality Warehouse; Baobab Edge Limited; Basic Information and Communications System Limited (BICS).
