Boko Haram leader, Shekau, releases video showing abducted Kankara schoolboys

Must read

Leader of Boko Haram terrorist group, Abubakar Shekau, has substantiated his earlier claim that his group was responsible for the abduction of more than 300 students of Government Science Secondary Schook, Kankara in Katsina state.

A fresh six minutes 30 seconds video released on Thursday and posted by HumAngle shows teenagers believed to be the Kankara schoolboys. According to HumAngle, the video features speeches from Shekau and one of the schoolboys who looked dejected and bloodied.

Scores of other young boys could be seen behind him, all covered in dust and appearing to be within a forest area.

Recall that unknown gunmen had invaded the school last week Friday, few hours after President Muhammadu Buhari touched down in Daura for a week-long holiday, and engaged security agencies in a firefight and in the process, made away with more than 300 students of the school.
